German Language - Intermediate

Days and Time: Saturday & Sunday, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Course description:

This course will introduce more complex grammar, vocabulary and comprehension. Besides focusing on the skills of Speaking and Listening, the course will also focus on reading and writing.

Content:

• Introduction of Germany, history, and neighbouring German speaking countries
• Geography, location and capitals
• Introduction of company / product / presentation
• Shopping : negotiation of prices and discussion about products
• Bio-data / application for job handling, interviews, writing official letters
• Entertainment
• Food habits
• Important cities
• Understanding professions / occupations
• Concept of time
• Modes of travel: Booking tickets, hotel booking, vacation planning
• Daily routine: free time activities; hobbies and sports

The Intermediate level can be completed in 24 sessions.

No. of sessions: 12 (Students need to enrol for a minimum of 12 sessions) The Intermediate level can be completed in 24 sessions.

Fees:

Course Fee: Rs.3600 + 10.3 % service tax
Material fee : Rs.250 will be charged towards reading material.
Registration fee : Rs.500/-. This is applicable only to students enrolling for the first time at active canvas.
