Hindustani Flute classes

Bansuri, Venu, Bansi, Murali - popularly known as the Flute is commonly associated with Lord Krishna. ‘Bansuri’ is derived from the words ‘bans [bamboo] and ‘sur’ [musical note].

Age: 6 years and above

Day : Wednesday

Time: 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Instructor : Giridhar Dodderi is a professional flautist trained in the Kirana Gharana of Hindustani classical music with Pandit Venkatesh Godkhindi, and his son Praveen Godkhindi. He is currently teaching at the Deccan International School, Bangalore since 2009.

Fee Details (for 12 sessions):

• Rs. 1,800/- per person + 10.3% service tax => Rs. 1,985/-
• Registration fee of Rs.500/- is applicable to all adults (15 years & above), and Rs. 250/- to all children (12 – 14 years of age) enrolling for the first time at active canvas

Course Type:

• Ongoing class. Participants can join any time of the year.
• Students have to enroll for a minimum of 12 classes.
• You could continue attending the classes through out the year by paying for 12 classes at a time.
• Classes missed by students cannot be made up.
• Please note that validity will not be extended.
