Ballet classes at active canvas:

Classical ballet forms the foundation of any western dance style. It refers to a technique of the art of ballet that was established in Europe through the mid 17th century, primarily in Italy, France & Russia. It requires many years of training in form and technique and is usually danced to Western Classical Music of great composers like Mozart, Tchaikovsky, etc. The dancer wears soft technique shoes until their bones are strong enough and they have trained for long enough to wear pointe shoes, they dance on the tops of their toes – sur le pointe. Classes are taught in the internationally accredited & world-renowned Imperial Classical Ballet syllabus.

Students will be introduced to the fundamental basics of Classical Ballet following the Imperial Classical Ballet syllabus of Pre-primary and Primary grades. This syllabus is devised by experts in the field of classical ballet and taught worldwide. The students will gain musicality, strengthen postural weaknesses, elegance, grace & confidence. The classes are structured and conducted with discipline, creativity and fun. No prior experience or exposure to any dance style is required.

Pre-Primary (4 to 7 years)
Time: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Day: Every Tuesday

Primary (7- 10 years)
Time:- 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Day:- Every Tuesday

Grade 1 (10 Years and above)
Time:- 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Day:- Every Wednesday

Fee:

Fee has to be paid every term. For details of the current term please call active canvas.
Registration fee of Rs.250/- applicable to all students enrolling for the first time at active canvas.

Course Type:
- Ongoing class. Join any time of the year. Students are required to enrol for an entire term.
- Classes missed by students cannot be made up.
- Please note that validity will not be extended.
